Rainton 10k
Rainton 10k Entry FormThe race starts in the village of Rainton, it leaves Rainton in an easterly direction towards Asenby and is on minor roads. The route takes you to Asenby crossroads, there it takes a left in the direction of Baldersby Park you cut through the park exiting to the right towards Baldersby St James, you remain on road until just before Baldersby, there you take a left onto a grass track, ( as seen above ) which takes you back into the Rainton were you finish by the village green.
The course is pretty flat, but not a quick course the grass track seems to slow runners down in that last mile, and if the weather is hot its a fairly open course with not much shade from the sun.
